Most Floks wool duvets can be aired regularly to refresh them - simply hang outside on a dry, breezy day. For washing, check your duvet's specific care label. Many can be machine washed on a wool or gentle cool cycle. Avoid high heat when drying, as this can shrink or felt the fibres. Air drying flat is ideal.

The wool is carefully cleaned and processed before being handcrafted into each mattress. When new, you may notice a subtle natural scent – similar to that of a new wool jumper, but this quickly disappears after the mattress has been aired.

A well-made wool mattress should provide 8 to 10 years of comfort.

Regular rotation and turning where applicable helps maintain even wear and prolongs the life of the natural fillings. Because wool is naturally resilient, it continues to perform exceptionally well over time.

To resolve this amicably, we combined the finest two materials available giving you the best of both worlds with a double-sided duvet cover and providing you with the ultimate sleep experience.

Cotton isn't naturally fire retardant. To ensure our regular topper is fire retardent, it is treated with Addiflam PP50 - a GOTS approved, halogen free, flame retardant chemical for certified textiles according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Non permanent, very low hygroscopic and ammonia free.

Our luxury deep mattress topper casing is a cotton and viscose blend making it naturally fire retardant.
