What's in the system
Wool mattress
The Perfectly Floks mattress sits at the centre of the system. Dual-sided and pocket sprung, filled with British wool, hemp and flax, and made in Yorkshire in partnership with Harrison Spinks. Foam-free, glue-free, and made without FR chemical treatment.

Wool topper
The topper sits directly on top of the mattress. Made in the UK using British wool wrapped in Egyptian cotton ticking, traced to the farm gate through the British Wool scheme. It's the fastest way to refresh an existing bed without replacing the mattress underneath, and it's how the system extends the working life of what you already own. Cheviot wool, made in the UK, finished in GOTS-certified organic cotton. Wool is anti-allergy and regulates temperature through the night. Comes in four togs, from a 4-5 tog summer weight to a 15-16 tog winter plus. Needs no washing: a couple of hours in the sun when you change your linen keeps it fresh. Filled with the same traceable Cheviot wool as the duvet, made in the UK, and cased in GOTS-certified organic cotton. The wool core is fully removable, so layers can be added or taken away to change the feel: 900-950g for medium fill, 600-650g for soft. £65. 30-night trial, subject to conditions.
Hemp and organic cotton, made in Portugal by artisans: 50% natural hemp, 50% GOTS-certified organic cotton, 300 thread count sateen weave, with hemp buttons. Machine washable at 40 degrees. This is the one piece in the system not made from wool, and the one exception to Floks' UK manufacturing.
Why wool
Wool absorbs moisture vapour from the body before it becomes sweat, while allowing air to circulate. That's the mechanism behind every filled piece in the system. The wool is traceable back to source through the British Wool scheme, so every batch can be tracked to the farm it came from.
